The Power of One award was presented to Dr. Bwelle by Dr. Rose Oma during the 3rd Annual CASEC Fundraising Gala, in recognition of his selfless humanitarian and charitable services in providing medical care to the underserved population in his native Cameroon.

“The Power of One Award” signifies that one person or one group through determination and the will to serve, can impact tangible change in the lives/health of thousands and whole communities. 

Dr. Georges Bwelle, a Cameroonian medical marvel, 2013 CNN Top 10 Hero, and the Patcha Foundation’s “Power of One Award” recipient 2014. Dr. Bwelle amazingly works with the marginalized every week.  So far, he has provided free healthcare services and procedures to over 50,000 sick patients, and this year alone provided 15,000 school children with books and supplies.
